Get More Free Books!

I am all about affordable access to books and free is even better! Below is a list of ways that you and your family can get MORE free access to books!

  1. Libby/Your Library (DUH): I have a whole post about how to maximize your library card situation to give you access to literally hundreds of thousands of e-books and audiobooks! Check it out and don't forget to find your nearest Little Free Library to share and exchange books with your community!

  2. Prime Reading: This is one I had NO idea about until recently. If you are an Amazon Prime member you get free access to a library of thousands of e-books, magazines, audiobooks, and more! They have a GREAT selection including new releases! Bonus: Each month you also get to pick one book from the editor's selection of "First Reads" AKA books that will be released the following month! Non-Prime members can access first reads for $1.99!

  3. NetGalley: This one is already popular in the bookstagram world but you may not know you don't need a book blog to sign up as a reviewer and can just mention in your profile you primarily review on Amazon, Goodreads, etc. (consumer sites). Educators also get special consideration! There is a huge selection of books that are "read now" (aka no need to apply) and many others you can apply to read!

  4. Dolly Parton's Imagination Library: Do you have a child 5 or under in your home? If so, you can register your child (if your area has an affiliate) and receive a FREE quality/age-appropriate children's book every single month (regardless of income) until your child reaches school age. This is an amazing way to introduce your child to reading and get them excited about books! Visit Imagination Library to learn more!

Do you know of any other fun ways to get access to free books? If so, drop them below!
